visiting: tourist attractions or what?
I will be staying at a hotel on State street with my significant other and visiting there for the weekend, I'm curious what else we can do and really worth doing. I did some googling, but I found out that I rather have "real" input. Any help?

It seems like some communities are dead, so it will be x-posted.

thanks in advance! I'm excited to visit!!

honestly, a lot of the tourist attractions like the mission and the botanical garden are a bit boring, somewhere I would take my parents or grandmother. I think that the best options in Santa Barbara are to go hiking, kayaking or some other type of outdoorsy class and enjoy the shops and restaurants on state st. A really cool and bargain place to go for dinner is the Gourmet Dining Room at the culinary arts school at santa barbara city college- 4 course meal with wines for $35 ish dollars, and the campus has an amazing view of the city, it can be very romantic. Maybe visit the farmers market in goleta on sunday? and the art museum is pretty good and free on sunday as well. Hope this helped!
